Jaw crusher works on the principle of crushing materials by the relative motion between two jaw plates (movable jaw and static jaw), i.e. movable jaw and static jaw, which mimic the movement of animal jaws to accomplish the material crushing operation. They mimic the movement of an animal’s lower jaw to accomplish the material crushing operation. The moving jaw reciprocates relative to the static jaw, and the material fed from the top chamber is compressed between the two jaw plates and crushed into small pieces. When the movable jaw plate leaves the static jaw plate, the crushed material is discharged from the discharge opening under the action of gravity. This working principle enables the jaw crusher to complete the crushing operation efficiently.
